“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but ex- horting one another and do so much the more as you see the Day approaching”, Heb 10:25. Participating in conferences is like being in Heaven. People of different races, tongues, backgrounds, workers and students of the entire world gather together to worship the Almighty God is so awesome.
Every year, we have two conferences. One in the summer and the other one in winter. Both these events are hosted during the vacations. The conference has been going on for last 10 to 15 years. Because of the increasing number of people, the southern part of China has their own conferences and northern do the likewise. Every after 4 years, we have combine conference.
This year, the conference for the north is in Beijing. The details of the conference are as follows:
*Theme: Living the Power of Lord, (Col 3:14)
*Guest Speaker: Ps Joseph Kingal (from PNG)
*Date: 3rd to 4th February, 2009
*Registration fees: 150 RMB
*Registration covers accommondation, food, conference kits and others
On the same note, for the south, the conference will be in Shanghai
*Theme: Worshipping God in Truth and in Spirit, (John 4:23-24)
Guest Speaker: Ps Johnathan Mesai (from Kenya)
Date: 29th Jan to 1st Feb, 2009
Lord has placed us strategically as a divine contact point to execute Kingdom purposes. Lets live a purposeful life to be the agents of change. May the Lord almight bless and keep you safe. You have a safe vacation and mark your calender to take part in these conferences. Let the Lord minister your life during these conferences.

We may not all be called to become pastors, all may not called to become evangelists, but one thing I know for sure is we are all called into theGreat Commission.
It was on the 16th January 2008, at 8:55am, I started my train ride to the freezing land "Harbin". Harbin is China's coldest Province. After four (4) hours by fast train, I finally arrived in Harbin. Bro Peter from Kenya, a faithful beloved in the Lord welcomed me with open arms.
Lord is forever faithful and He made everything possible for me to meet the Christrian brethrens in Harbin. Peter and I had never met before but we came to know each other through
sister Anna from Namimbia. I met Anna in Shenyang last December. Peter and Anna are both PhD students at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). They introduced alot of Christian foreign students on their campus to me. It was indeed wonderful to meet them and some of them are from Botswana, Kenya, Ethopia to name a few.
Worship Service
While meeting those friends, I asked them if they could come for a worship meeting in Peter's room. By Lord's grace, about ten (10) turned up. I bought some drinks for all of us and we started our fellowship. It was indeed awesome. I shared with them from Heb 10:25. That campus fellowship has been closed for about three (3) months for some reasons. I encouraged them to continue to have fellowship regardless of whatever situations they are confronted with. They need prayers to continue to have fellowship in that campus and other universities in Harbin among other foreign beloveds. Having worship service in Peter's room at HIT
After our worship service, I made the anouncement on the up-coming winter festival in Beijing. Many beloveds shown interest. Pray for financial provisions for these beloveds to take part in the festival as this will be their first time in a long time to take part.
Sunday Service at Harbin International Fellowship
On Sunday 19th Jan, 09 at 10 am, I joined Peter and we went to church. The worship service was wonderful. Leaders of the Church welcomed other visitors and me. At the end of sharing the Word from the book of Esther 4, Leaders Jimmy and Pais gave me the opportunity to make announcement for the up-coming winter festival in Beijing. First couple of minutes, I passed greetings from Shenyang International Fellowship to them. After that, I talk about the annual festivals for both North andSouth regions. Finally, I thank the Lord for His faithfulness to make all this mission trips a blessing. I was so encouraged to hear from many beloveds that my mission trips were in God's timing and it was a blessing. To conclude my mission trips, I have decided to sponsor the registration fees of 150 RMB to three (3) musicians from Changchun and a leader of Harbin Institute of Technology Fellowship to attend the winter conference in Beijing from 3rd to 6th Feb, 2009.

Time spent with God is not a waste but an investment. We do not need to be a pastor, or be taught Theology to minister the gospel to a dying world.
ReplyDeleteIt is God's work and He Himself will facilitate, we just have to take our cross and follow Jesus. Angels are crying for dying souls, are standing for Jesus. It is time now to make an absolute decsion to follow our only Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Continue to do the good work. God will reward accordingly in His own time and Ways.
